The editor of the Catalan Journal of Communication & Cultural Studies (CJCS) will participate this week in the International Conference on Media and Culture in Small Nations, at the University of Glamorgan, Cardiff (16-17 June 2011).
Enric Castelló will deliver a speech on the research in media and culture in Catalonia. A part of his contribution, entitled “Media studies in Catalonia: researching, publishing… competing”, analyzes the model of the Catalan Journal of Communication & Cultural Studies as an academic publication.
The conference is organized by the Welsh Media Journal, a publication similar to CJCS but focused on Welsh media studies.
