A presentation of this special issue of ‘Tourism & Communication: Place Brands, Identities and New Trends’ is included in the inaugural session of the second edition of the official Master’s Degree in Political, Institutional and Corporate Communication in crisis and risk environments (MASTERDEC) from Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV).
The session takes place on October 5, at the Faculty of Letters of URV, in the presence of students and scholars interested, and starts off with a conference held by Professor Nigel Morgan from The University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, entitled ‘Destination Brands: meeting the digital challenge’.
On October 6, Nigel Morgan, Assumpció Huertas (URV) and Enric Castelló (CJCS’s editor) are presenting the special issue of the Catalan Journal at the Faculty of Communication from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. The presentation starts at 18.00 pm and is included in the series of events dedicated to the First International Conference Place Branding On-line held there. The CJCS is an editorial initiative promoted by the Department of Communication Studies of URV and is sponsored by the URV-Repsol Chair for Excellence in Communication.
